We went poking around two hot tourist destinations in Bangkok today, and yes it was very hot, but there weren’t very many tourists. Wat Arun is undergoing renovation at the moment, which makes it good time to visit as there are fewer people around. Chinatown, on the other hand, was heaving with scores of tourists ! One offsets the other. Chinatown is always fascinating, regardless of how many visits I make.
