To dust away the cobwebs of New Year’s Eve we took a walk at sunset in Lumphini Park. Lumphini is one of my favourite places in Bangkok, not only is it the archetypal ‘green oasis’ in the concrete jungle but it is also so exotic ! It boasts beautiful pagodas, a love heart park, and of course huge monitor lizards. Today, we were there just to stretch the legs, clear the head, and watch the sunset – which did not disappoint.
